2014 AAMP Professional Development Grant Winner

Jeremy Jinkerson, LPE

For the past five years, I have been an LPE, and I was awarded Independent status in July 2013. It had always been my intent pursue my PhD, and I am now doing so with the assistance of Professional Development Scholarship. 

In my role as the Student Representative for the Arkansas Psychological Association, I am ensuring that LPEs/LPE-Is are included in a mentoring program that we are developing. Through my attendance at the quarterly ArPA Board meetings, I am also working to ensure that Master’s level licensure is on ArPA’s agenda. Through my relationship with ArPA, I have also begun to speak with Arkansas Psychology Board members about our licensure issues.
